At the gate on the left is Tom Hall with his Granddaughter. Standing with the horses is Lewin Gorin (who was killed in the First World War), whilst the boy seated on the mare "Flossie" is Samuel Awre. The dog was named "Old Boy" (Source: "Aspects of Awre" authored by the Awre Millennium Committee.)
